Born and raised in San Francisco, Roshann is passionate about serving the communities that have nurtured her. Roshann has worked in non-profit organizations for most of her career. In that time she developed programming for underserved youth, organized advocacy efforts for families living in SROs, and provided counseling. She believes in creating systems change through community healing and empowerment.
Roshann received her BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz and graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters in Social Work, specializing in Policy and Administration.
Roshann strongly values the connection between the arts and empowerment of historically disempowered communities. Her lens is predominantly shaped by the Chicano/Xicanx movements of California.
In her spare time, Roshann is an avid food enthusiast and enjoys practicing Muay Thai with her family. Roshann joined Creativity Explored in 2020 and is thrilled to work with such a dedicated and spirited group.
