Mário Pires Cordeiro is an American-Portuguese artist, designer, and mentor with a rich background. Originally from Lisbon, he spent a decade in London before settling in California in 2015. He holds an MFA from Chelsea College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts, London, and he has also undertaken extensive research in color trends within the realm of fine arts during his three-year PhD journey. Notably, he has received commissions from prestigious organizations like the Olympic and Paralympic Games Committee in 2012, as well as the Cape Farewell Foundation.
With an extensive track record, Pires Cordeiro's work spans more than forty solo and group exhibitions across the globe. His artistic vision merges fine art and design, exploring the intriguing interplay between visual art and functional objects through innovative media and color experimentation.
