Glenn Peckman
Teaching Artist
Staff Member since 2012
Artist and designer Glenn Peckman has been a San Francisco resident since 1992. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Glenn resided in Italy for over 12 years where he explored Italian art, design, and architecture in addition to food, naturally.
After receiving a BFA in painting he pursued a career in textile design, designing textiles globally for furniture and interiors. This lead to travel throughout Europe, India, Indonesia and Central America, exploring textile traditions and art history.
Glenn maintained a studio in San Francisco's North Beach for fourteen years. His work is included in the collections of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, and the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts.
Creativity Explored has been an eye opener and inspiration since he first began volunteering in 2010.
