Heartfelt wallpaper featuring Cheryle Rutledge by She She

Two luxury wallpapers by She She featuring Cheryle Rutledge’s hearts launch this Valetine’s Day.

She She is a multidisciplinary print and pattern studio specializing in wallpaper, fabric, and home furnishings. This vibrant and creative company was founded by two artistic friends — Kate, who focuses on illustration, and Jenny, who focuses on architecture and interior design. Combining their passions, Kate and Jenny design and create unique wallpapers that bring life (and art) into any space.

CE partnered with She She to create two iconic wallpapers featuring art by CE artist Cheryle Rutledge. Known for her hearts of varying sizes, Rutledge covers a picture plane and occasionally incorporates whimsically drawn figures including pill bottles, elephants, and houses, adding an exciting dimension to her work. Rutledge’s signature hearts come to life this Valentine’s Day season on two all-over wallpapers named after ancient Greek words for “love” — Eros and Agape. A portion of proceeds from sales benefit Creativity Explored and the artist directly.

We gravitate toward Cheryle’s artwork due to its warmth and honesty. Her hearts truly do make us feel warm when we look at them and we really appreciate that. We pulled icons from her existing pieces to create two all over patterns inspired by two types of love, Eros and Agape, each with their own colorway.

Cheryle Rutledge is truly the queen of hearts this Valentine’s Day! If you are in San Francisco on Monday, February 14, 2022, look to the city skyline after dusk to see Cheryle Rutledge’s hearts gracing the top six stories of Salesforce Tower. Created in partnership with Jim Campbell Studio, the original animation of Rutledge’s hearts will beam down a message of love to the whole city.

Celebrate the season – and Rutledge’s heart-filled art – with the launch of new She She wallpapers and the epic tower top installation.
