Larry Rinder is a writer, farmer, and political activist living in Northern California. He is Director Emeritus of the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, where he worked for over twenty years in various roles, including organizing over one hundred exhibitions (several of which included artists from CE!). He was Curator of Contemporary Art at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Dean at the California College of the Arts. Also at CCA, Larry was Founding Director of the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts. He is currently on the Board of Kadist and has served on the Boards of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the Rockwood Leadership Institute.
