Michele Gonzales

Michele Gonzales is inspired by popular culture, often having her television on while drawing. She mainly relies on source material, like pictures of the Mandalorian from Star Wars. Gonzales typically creates works on paper and wood but has since expanded to other mediums, like digital drawing.
Since joining the studio, Gonzales has shown growth in her practice by broadening her subject vocabulary. She now is excited to drawing new themes and learn new techniques. Gonzales responds positively when she is shown a familiar character from her favorite animated movies and works diligently and carefully to capture the likeness of these popular figures. Known as a compassionate artist by her teaching artists, Gonzales also finds joy in sharing her artwork with her fellow peers in her Zoom classes.
