Isagani Tanyag
b. 1957 ∙ CE artist from 1993 - 2008
When Isagani Tanyag began working at Creativity Explored, he was prolific with oil pastels until deciding the medium was too messy. In later years, Tanyag worked almost exclusively in acrylic paint. Tanyag’s work combines monochromatic fields of color with thick black lines, all painted with great care and precision. Many of his paintings are completed on a smaller scale and are sometimes combined to create large collages. Skillfully arranged, Tanyag’s compositions are quiet, abstract works that still achieved much movement and flow.
