In her preferred media of Sharpies, pens, and oil pastels, the ever-chatty Gabbie Lopez brings to life vibrant rainbows and enchanting Disney characters, like Mickey Mouse. Pink, her favorite color, dominates her palette, reflecting her joyful and lively personality. Recently, she has been working on screenprints that depict her trusty rainbows, butterflies, and flowers.
“Creativity Explored is a great place!” says Gabbie.
While she values independence in her artistic endeavors, Gabbie is exceptionally friendly, and loves to interact with staff and fellow artists. In her practice, Gabbie is self-assured and opinionated with a dynamic approach to art-making, often moving around the studio to different workspaces while creating a piece.
