Alan Ku
b. 1985∙ CE artist since 2007 - 2011
Alan Ku is a painter who appropriates images from art history to create his own unique visions. Ku’s preferred medium is watercolor, which he uses to create delicate and mysterious narratives. He depicts human figures interacting in ambiguous ways. Ku’s meticulously-rendered scenes offer an unusual view of people’s relationships with each other and their surroundings. In 2015, CB2 selected Ku's artwork "Hong Kong" to adorn a pillow.
