About the Community Art Partners Program

Creativity Explored’s Community Art Partners program is designed for Bay Area corporations and small businesses who want to make a significant and visible contribution to San Francisco’s cultural vitality by supporting the work of artists with developmental disabilities.

We offer several sponsorship and philanthropic opportunities ranging from exclusive event financing, access to our unique and festive facility for employee events and trainings, private tours, and art installations in your office facility or workspace.

The Community Art Partners program provides a unique way to communicate with Creativity Explored’s audience of art enthusiasts as well as your own constituents. We partner with your company to create an integrated sponsorship package tailored to your business objectives which can include many of the following benefits:

  • Association with one of the Bay Area’s most venerable and beloved nonprofit organizations
  • Primary affiliation with an exclusive project
  • Recognition of your business name and logo in Creativity Explored’s advertisements, printed materials, website, and publicity efforts

National and International Scope

  • Studio artists have exhibited nationally and internationally in places such as Japan, Russia, Sweden, Australia, and Holland.
  • “Cross Your Eyes Keep Them Wide,” a film about Creativity Explored by Ben Wu, was screened at the Telluride Film Festival on September 3, 2006.
  • Studio artist Michael Bernard Loggins’ book, “Fears of Your Life” was included in This American Life’s “Greatest Hits” compilation released in November 2006 and distributed across the country.
  • Numerous studio artists have been represented at the Outsider Art Fair in New York City, NY for several years.
  • In collaboration with Kim Epifano and AXIS Dance Company, Creativity Explored presented Fears of Your Life at Yerba Buena Arts Center in February 2007.
  • Creativity Explored artwork may be purchased on a regular basis at the American Visionary Art Museum store in Baltimore, Maryland.

Creativity Explored’s Annual Fundraiser

For the past three years this event has drawn a crowd of 500 people to enjoy food & beverage, live music, mingling with CE studio artists and, most importantly, to raise funds for Creativity Explored. The event receives great press coverage every year, including the San Francisco Chronicle, SF Magazine, SF Weekly, SF Bay Guardian, and local television and radio.

Annual Holiday Sale Weekend Promotion

CE’s most heavily attended event, more than 1,800 people flock to the gallery the first weekend in December for great deals on original art.

Art Exhibition Openings at CE Gallery

Creativity Explored mounts approximately six distinct exhibitions each year, featuring work by studio artists with CE instructors as curators. Each exhibit includes a highly publicized and well-attended opening. On average, more than 400 people attend openings and delight in the atmosphere of the event.

Philanthropy

Art Installation at your Office, Lobby or Event Site

Creativity Explored’s fun and unrestrained art is available for show and enjoyment in business offices and public spaces, allowing company employees and visitors to be inspired by CE artists every day. Installations are typically on display for a four-month period. A customized plaque, recognizing the partnership between your organization and Creativity Explored, is included in the installation.
